White Space

Edwin Antonian Team : Web Design

Every designer has heard this before:

there's a bit of white space there, can we fill it in with something?.

What people don't always realise when they look at good design is the incorporation of white space.

White space can:
- Increase the tonal variety of a page, adding interest
- Convey heirachy
- Express that the content is more important than the screen real estate that it rests on
- Convey an image of sophistication and elegance
- Increase legibility and separate blocks of content from one another

White space is good!
