Internet`s the Global Medium: Rupert Murdoch

From a syndicated Bloomberg article, this morning's Sydney Morning Herald is running an article (Internet's the global medium: Murdoch) in which Rupert Murdoch claims that the Internet is truly the global medium - even more so than television.

Muurdoch bases his claim on the fact that more local outlets can contribute to the Internet, far more so than any other medium.

This comes on top of recent acquisitions worth a total AUD$1.7 billion by Murdoch's News Corporation.
