“The lower the standard of a people, the more lavish are its ornaments. To find beauty in form instead of making it depend on ornament is the goal towards which humanity is aspiring.”

The age of minimalist digital design is here. It all started with the least obvious instigator "Windows 8" but digital design has embraced it.
It's a welcome change in digital design as we can now make the content / story of the site the king by simply using typography, colour and spacing to create design rather then relying on ornaments to create a brand story.
Benefit One - Minimalist digital design benefits the user of the product, as our designs become more minimal the more user friendly they become, as we remove all the clutter from the design story.
Benefit Two - The more minimal the design the lighter it is and can be served on mobile / Tablets / Desktop with very little fuss.
Benefit Three - Content becomes the focus
Benefit Four - Products become straightforward and are easily understood
